If you would like a new forum for whatever reason (big reason should be that one thread in gaming forum just won't cut it). Request it here in this thread.
What i need from you is this:
- Forum Name
A blurb of text that will go under the forum name in the listings
Also (optional) I need to know a few other things:
- Moderators? Default is the GM.
- Who can do what: The default is:
- See the Forum - Everyone
Read - Everyone
Post a thread - Everyone
Reply - Everyone
Edit - Everyone
Delete - Moderator
Add Topic to Calendar - Moderator
Sticky - Moderator
Announce - Moderator
Vote- Everyone
Poll create - Everyone
- Automaticaly delete old stuff? Right now the default for most places is to not delete automatically. Exception being the General Forums will delete topics that haven't been posted in for over 3 weeks.

Spy Pond Slayers
Welcome to Arlington, MA, home of the new Hellmouth!
It's a recurring game, just like B'lords and Marvel, which have their own little forums, and it'll be easier for the players to see when there's new info etc. Also if they want to play around like we sometimes do with Battelords, it'll be much easier than in a thread in the general RPG news forum.
All the defualt settings are fine.

Forum Name: Shadowrun
Blurb of Text: We definitely didn't bring enough guns.
Gay boy: The hipsters make it so tricky. Back in college, if a guy in tight pants asked if I wanted to go play handball, I knew I was getting my dick sucked. Now, I might actually have to play handball.

I think I should add a Fading Suns forum. What do you want the description to be? any special settings?

Yeah, I was about to ask you actually.
Forum Name: "Fading Suns"
Tag: "Dark ages space-opera: Intrigue, Tech, Religion and Combat in the Known Worlds"
Options:
Moderator: Me
Post a Thread: Moderator (for now)
The other settings are fine.
Question: Can I create threads that only certain users can see?
Thanks!

No. The closest to this is private messages.

Just so you know. your forum is set so only mods can post new threads, anyone can reply. if there is a thread you want to stop replies to, click the little lock icon at the bottom of the thread view.

Thanks. You can give users the right to post a thread now. I just wanted to get some in there ahead of time.

Will, do you think there would be interest in a tech forum? I am desirious to post about technology and pertaining news. I will moderate if there is a need.

you can do it yourself. go to usergroups and choose the 7th see one. since you are moderator you can just add people.

Here's something interesting - I'm apparently not a member of my own 7th Sea group.

You're not only the president, you're also a client.
according to
your profile, you're a member of a ton of groups.

I'd join Tech Discussion....and have no objections to Sports Discussion going to a specified location far away!

I'd join both. I need more time wasters.

Sports discussion sounds fun. I think I'd be in way over my head discussing anything tech related with this crowd, though.

Will, at what point are the Video Game, Sports, and Tech fourms supposed to disappear for those of us not in the Usergroup? I thought they were supposed to go away this past Monday, but I'm still getting them. Thanx!
